Terms & Conditions

About Our Products

Many of our products are made from natural animal hides and horns.  We enjoy seeing the uniqueness of each individual animal.  Because each one is unique, it is impossible to provide two or more hides or horns that are perfectly identical. Because each one has once lived in the outdoors, they may get scrapes, scratches, brands, or a variety of other visible marks on them.  Variations in shape, color, size and visible marks are not to be considered defects.  They are simply a mark of the uniqueness of each individual animal. If you are not satisfied with the product purchased for any reason, you may return it within 14 days and we will refund the product price, or exchange it for something more suitable.  We do not refund shipping cost on exchanges.

The wildlife products we sell are from animals culled from herds on African Game preserves. The entire animal is processed and all parts are sold at auction and used.

 

General Terms

We strive to provide you with the best quality products available on the market.  We hope that you will be satisfied with the products that you purchase from us.  If for any reason you would like to return goods to us, please call within 14 days to discuss the problem.  We will do our best to satisfy your needs by exchanging the product or giving you a refund for the product.  We do not refund shipping cost on exchanges.

All orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.  We may require a signature for a credit card purchase.  Other options available are Cashiers Check and wire transfer.  In the event that a personal check is used for payment, it will be held 10-14 days prior to shipment of the order.

 

 

Returns and Exchanges

If you have just received merchandise that has either arrived damaged or needs to be exchanged please follow the following merchandise return instructions. Failure to follow the merchandise return procedures that follow may result in your package not being accepted for delivery to our warehouse.

  1. Damaged Goods:
  1. If you receive a shipment with damaged goods keep original box and all packing material in their original condition.
  2. Notify us immediately within 3 working days on our toll free number (888-270-5882) and we will arrange for a UPS representative to view the damage goods and collect them for return to our warehouse.
  3. We will send out replacement goods and pay freight costs.
  1. Exchanges:
    1. We have an Open Return Policy: if you return the product within 14 days for any or no reason, provided that the item(s) is/are in the condition in which it was shipped to you, we will refund you for the item(s) minus the shipping costs. If you have used, manipulated, or changed the nature of the product (trimming a hide, adding your own backing to a hide, adding any coloration, patching, etc.) for whatever reason, this will nullify our return policy. Special orders are non-returnable/non-refundable.
    2. If you attempt to return an item after the 14 day period, we will offer you store credit for future purchases or exchange, if requested. Refunds of the product may not be offered after the 14 day period.
    3. Call our toll free # 888-270-5882 and provide your Invoice # and date the merchandise was received. We will issue a Return Authorization Number to be written on the outside of the box or the shipment will be refused.
    4. Exchanges are to be sent at the customer's expense with a pre-paid shipping label sent to the following address:

Hide Cleaning Instructions

1. Stain Or General Dirt

  • Vacuum (suction only) or shake out the hide regularly to remove dirt and grit
  • Dry foam carpet or upholstery cleaner may be used to lift spot stains
  • You may dampen the hide, do not soak it. If it is soaked, when it dries it will become wavy and lose its shape. At the tannery it is stretched over a board and tumbled to soften, so anytime it is drenched it eliminates this process.

2. Wine Et Cetera

  • Use a dry foam carpet or upholstery cleaner.

3. Urine

  • Lift with moisture and use a neutralizer to eliminate the odor.

 

International Orders

We welcome requests and inquiries from countries outside the US.  Wildlife products require inspection by US Department of Fish and Wildlife. The cost for this inspection is a flat rate of $275 meaning that whether you order 1x item or several, the inspection fee will remain at $275. 

International shipping is also expensive.  We recommend shipping via courier, such as UPS, FedEx or DHL for small shipments, or Air Cargo for large shipments.  We do not ship international orders via Postal Service.


Many countries also require special documentation for importing wildlife products into your country.  This documentation can take up to one month to process on our side before the shipment can be dispatched. We have found it impossible to speed up this process. For these reasons we would request that you limit your international inquiries for any wildlife products to over US$1500.00, and respectfully request your patience in processing shipments.

Cowhides, Sculptures, Carvings, and Cowhide furniture for the most part do not require special processing, but be aware that shipping charges may be higher than the value of the product purchased.

 

Privacy Policy

It is our policy to keep all personal information provided to us by our customers confidential. We do not sell, share, trade, give away or transfer your personal information including name, address, phone number, email address, or any other information provided. If you submit personal information, such as your email address, to us by following the “Contact Us” link or subscribe to our newsletter or special offers, we will use that information only to respond to your question or request for information. We will not share your information with third parties without your explicit permission.
